I read Runnin’ Down A Dream by Bill Gurley a few weeks ago, and as someone with kids who will enter an increasingly uncertain workforce - the idea of following your curiosity/fascination/obsession really reasonates with me. I think more people need to take a chance to become a Bob Dylan / Alex Radford / Steph Curry, so that all mankind might flourish.

So I wrote a wesbit about it. Here it is

It includes a brief exploration of the why and how to find a pursuit - or many pursuits, including exercises and links to resources that I know young people in my life would benefit from.

Enjoy. Please reach out on twitter if you have any feedback. This was also an excuse to more seriously learn Claude Code, which I had used exclusively for backend dev before. I am impressed/concerned/asoutnded by how useful LLMs are now. Whether AGI is in reach is besides the point - the technology is real, useful and will have far reaching impacts on the economy.
